Frank Homann

Founder and CEO

Frank trained as a military officer in the Danish army. He then obtained an MBA at INSEAD in France and worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. before co-founding a high-tech company in Silicon Valley. In 2007, he founded Xoco Gourmet.

Cristhian Montenegro


Cristhian Montenegro, is our CFO. He also acts as COO for our Central American operations. Cristhian has been the CFO of a number of Central American based companies. Cristhian holds an MBA in Finance from INCAE.

Diana Cruz

Chief chocolate maker

Diana Cruz develops our chocolate and manages the production. She has a background and education as a pastry chef from leading restaurants in Argentina, Colombia and Mexico. She worked as the chocolate maker for a small bean-to-bar chocolate company in Colombia before joining Xoco.

Hervé Fleisch

Non-executive Director

Hervé Fleisch is non-executive director of agricultural operations. He holds a PhD in agriculture and soil management and has managed high-yielding farms in the United States and Costa Rica. He joined Xoco in 2009 as an investor.
